Did you immediately think, "Wow, it's so colorful and cute!" and wonder, "Is it really 3D? Is this made of fabric?" 😋 Well, keep reading to find out! 😘

Craft Felt Tarot might be the most craft-like deck I've ever seen 😹 Usually, craft-like decks are collage-style tarot decks! These types of decks are made by the artist cutting various pieces of paper by hand to create different cards ✂️ But this time, this deck isn't made of cut paper, but cut non-woven fabric! 🤭

Wow, doesn't that bring back childhood memories! 😹 I remember as a kid, I would draw stars/hearts on fabric and then cut them out! 😆 Similarly, the artist Gianna silently cut away, creating 78 cards. Her hands must have been calloused from all that cutting, poor thing 🥹

So, why did she suddenly decide to cut a deck out of non-woven fabric? Like many deck creators, Gianna found the traditional Tarot's Death card a bit scary, and she thought, "If only the Death card could be a little gentler..." So she picked up some non-woven fabric and started cutting, and sketching the composition of each card! 😙 And so, over a year and a half, she continuously researched, cut fabric, drew, brainstormed, etc., and finally, the unique and lovely Craft Felt Tarot was born! 🥳

Precisely because of the unique use of fabric in the production process, the colors of this deck are vibrant without being an eyesore 😹 And the most special thing is the 3D effect created by the deck, it's truly amazing!!! Even though it's just printed on paper, it looks as if you're seeing the non-woven fabric itself 😹

Although this deck closely follows the traditional Waite-Smith, Gianna has modified the imagery of some cards to highlight their meanings, so some cards have simpler compositions than the traditional Waite-Smith! For example, the Wheel of Fortune 🎊 The artist used a gashapon machine to replace the original "wheel." Even without the wheel of fortune, the gashapon machine still conveys the meaning of change and destiny for this card! 🥰

Finally! The artist deliberately excluded titles, only keeping Roman numerals! The same applies to court cards, so "page" is replaced by "P" 😆 The reason for not including titles is to allow more room for imagination when interpreting the cards!
