Wild Child Tarot (Second Edition)

Does the art style of this deck look familiar? 🤪 That's right, this is the artist of Healing Waves Tarot (which is out of print 🤟🏽) and Wild Child Oracle 😆 Since it's called Wild Child Tarot, it's the sister deck to Wild Child Oracle, so their card backs are super similar, hehe! The artist felt she hadn't drawn enough or explored the theme of nature enough, so this tarot deck, alongside Wild Child Oracle, continues to revolve around nature! 🌳

However, this tarot deck features more animals than her oracle deck, similar to the previous Healing Waves! Although the oracle deck also depicts various animals, I feel the oracle focuses more on the connection between humans and nature, and features more flowers, plants, and trees 🌹+ the moon 🌙. Wild Child Tarot, on the other hand, focuses more on animals 🐘🐬, so if you like animal-themed cards, you might find this deck appealing 🦢

After seeing the artist's posted photos, I really have to say that her Strength card is drawn so beautifully, gently, and comfortably (no wonder it's on the box cover xd) 🥰 This embrace gives off such a feeling of strength and gentleness combined 🥹 Another card I quite like is the 3 of Earth, which shows three ants moving different things 🐜 In traditional Waite, three people are discussing a project, but in Wild Child Tarot, these people are replaced by ants, yet the feeling of "cooperation" is still maintained 🤟🏽 Perhaps it's because I often see large ants moving things and walking around near my home, so I have a special feeling for the illustration of this card, haha!

Let's get back to it! 😆 Besides being drawn similarly and closely following traditional Waite, some cards also interpret the card's meaning based on the characteristics of different animals! Also, the suits aren't labeled cups/swords; the artist used their corresponding elements to represent the suits, meaning Water is Cups 💧 and Air is Swords 🌬️
